Globally Exceptional Marine Area, and by UNESCO as a
Potential World Heritage Site - is also a
Mission Blue Hopespot and a unique bioregion scientifically recognized as essential to the health of southern Western Indian Ocean marine ecosystems.
The Malamba Coastal Collaborative is located in the heart of this Seascape working alongside the communities of Malamba and Mazuene, governmental, and national and international partners invested in ensuring the integrity of this critically important bioregion.
